Wabash River from Montezuma to Hutsonville. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois... Wabash River at Covington. Wabash River from Riverton to Mount Carmel. .Minor flooding continues along portions of central Indiana rivers due to excessive rain over the previous few weeks. Largely dry weather is in store for the week ahead, with only a few low chances of rain. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Kimmell Park at Vincennes is extensively flooded. River cabins begin to flood. Extensive lowland flooding occurs in unprotected areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Sunday /9:45 AM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 17.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM EDT Sunday /9:45 AM CDT Sunday/ was 17.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.2 feet Tuesday evening.
