Alert details...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Illinois... East Fork White River at Seymour. White River from Elliston to Hazleton. Wabash River from Montezuma to Hutsonville. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois... Wabash River at Covington. Wabash River from Riverton to Mount Carmel. .Minor flooding continues along portions of central Indiana rivers due to excessive rain over the previous few weeks. Largely dry weather is in store for the week ahead, with only a few low chances of rain. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Mount Carmel. * WHEN...From this evening to late Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, River is bankfull in all locations. All oil field production ceases with the exception of pumping units on substructures. Access to these are by boat only. Agricultural losses increase dramatically. Farmers move livestock to higher ground. City of Mount Carmel leaves flood gates B and C in year round. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Sunday /9:45 AM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 18.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 20.4 feet Thursday morning.
