Alert details...The Flood Warning is extended for the following river and locations in Indiana...Illinois... Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site, Riverton, and Mount Carmel. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following river and locations in Indiana...Illinois... Wabash River at Covington, Montezuma, Terre Haute, and Vincennes. .On the Wabash River, minor flooding continues, with the crest still in the vicinity of Riverton as of Sunday evening. Flooding is predicted to end on the Wabash this coming weekend. Largely dry weather is in store for the week, with a 50 percent or less chance of rain Wednesday afternoon and night. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Mount Carmel. * WHEN...From this evening to late Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, River is bankfull in all locations. All oil field production ceases with the exception of pumping units on substructures. Access to these are by boat only. Agricultural losses increase dramatically. Farmers move livestock to higher ground. City of Mount Carmel leaves flood gates B and C in year round. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM EDT Sunday /7:45 PM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 19.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.2 feet early Thursday morning.
